Lash Extension Aftercare

To keep your lash extensions looking their best and ensure they last as long as possible, follow these essential aftercare tips:  

1. Avoid Water for 3-4 Hours: Keep your lashes completely dry for the first 3-4 hours after application to allow the adhesive to fully cure. You can shower and wash your face as normal after 3 hours.

2. Be Gentle: Avoid rubbing, pulling, or touching your lashes to prevent damage or premature shedding.  

3. Skip Oil-Based Products: Oil-based makeup removers, cleansers, or eye creams can break down the adhesive. Use lash-safe, oil-free products instead.  

4. Cleanse Your Lashes: Gently clean your lashes at least once a day with an oil-free foaming cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and makeup buildup. Lash safe cleanser is available for purchase.

5. Brush Daily: Use a clean spoolie brush to gently comb through your lashes each morning to keep them neat and separated.  

6. Avoid Mascara: Do NOT apply mascara to lash extensions, especially waterproof formulas, as it can clump lashes and weaken the adhesive. Full removal will be required if mascara is applied.

7. Sleep on Your Back: Try to sleep on your back or use a silk pillowcase to avoid crushing or tangling your lashes.  

8. Avoid Heat and Steam: Limit exposure to saunas, steam rooms, or excessive heat, as it can weaken the adhesive.  

9. No Lash Curlers: Never use mechanical lash curlers, as they can damage both your extensions and natural lashes.  

10. Schedule Regular Fills: Book touch-up appointments every 2-3 weeks to maintain a full, lush look.
